CR Dentistry Update Speaker Bio

Dr. Eckels graduated from Niagara University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry and Business. From there he went on to Philadelphia and the acclaimed Temple Kornberg School of Dentistry. Currently, Dr. Eckels is involved in the Shepard Project Dental Study Club and the Academy of General Dentistry.

He is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where growing up he played many sports, excelling in baseball in football.   While at Niagara, Dr. Eckels played collegiate baseball. He moved to Florida about 5 years ago. In his spare time he enjoys living an active life and staying fit any way he can.  He loves spending time outdoors with his grills and smokers while cheering for the Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers. Currently, Dr. Eckels resides in Lakewood Ranch with his wife Amanda and cat Rory.
